Fake British Empire

‘We’ll never know how many have eaten horse.’ Would there be as much of a fuss if it’d been venison, or goat, or wild boar? Yano, carrion with caché. False advertising is one thing, I understand the outrage there - right on, call a horseburger a horseburger - but mainly this scandal just highlights the hypocrisy of meateaters.

Sometimes at least, the things easiest done are also the easiest undone.

So I checked my privilege, and it turns out my privilege is to be part of a community that scarcely has the ability to understand the world in anything other than the most simplistic black and white dichotomies. And it really is a privilege!

I’m lucky to have so many idiots in my life.

It might well be that noone will ever fully appreciate you. It’s really not that unlikely.
